EGS Beteiligungen AG (EGSB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ernst Göhner Foundation. It invests the foundation's assets over the long term according to entrepreneurial principles. With a portion of the proceeds, the Ernst Göhner Foundation supports philanthropic projects.

EGS Beteiligungen AG invests a significant portion of the foundation's assets in Swiss-related companies.

The aim is to continuously maintain capital and generate a return on the Foundation's commitments. Long-term thinking, sustainable profit orientation, ethical principles and a spirit of partnership form the core of the investment philosophy — in the spirit of founder Ernst Göhner.

Late-stage start-ups to listed companies

EGSB's investments are focused on established companies in the industrial, IT and medical technology sectors with an annual turnover of at least 50 million CHF. EGSB is also interested in financing late-stage start-ups (growth) in the technology sector. The condition is that the companies have Swiss headquarters or generate significant added value in Switzerland. They are listed on the stock exchange or privately financed, are among the market leaders or have the potential to achieve this goal, and meet the values of the EGPS.
